Eyeful Tower RSA Brief Synopsis

As part of our RSA brief we had to design and create a product which helped an individual with a disability or disorder to do a certain task. I chose blind people and adapted the traditional walking stick into a more modern and up-to-date. It has a roller ball base, a bit like the tip of a BIC Biro. It is only 75cm high with a lovely ball grip at the top. Inside it has a sensor and GPS which guides the blind person around and senses if there is anything that the user might bump into. It will notify the user by applying a steady brake, once the object has passed it will release itself again and work as per usual.

I have done a few different colour schemes for this which I will show you soon. The final model will be a light-ish Blue with a Chrome top and bottom ball.

Final A2 Presentation of C4D Room

Not the finest looking room ever made, but i think from not knowing how to use Cinema 4D at all at the start of term, then going on and creating a whole room in just a few weeks is good progress for me. Thanks Jason

All Completed Room work

All that has to be done now is to present all four of these pictures in an A2 photoshop presentation.

Last lesson before Half Term

As per usual, time is of the essence so the need to move onto a different project is more necessary. This week we are finalising everything and priniting off our table, glass, room and table individually and all together in one room. Also an optional extra is to make an animation of the room. If there is time in this lesson i will do this. so now i best get cracking on with this work.

Standard Basic Double Room

I have doubled the room up and just rotated the table inside the room so far. I will add signs, more inside the rooms and i might even continue on and create a pub.

Table

This is the table, together with the chairs and wine glasses. I even added some plates really quickly. I also added reflection and lights.
Next I have to move my table chairs and all pieces into a room.

The second thing we made was a chair.

Wine Glasses

Other than making a cube, this is the first interesting thing i have done on Cinema 4D. I made one of the glasses then copied it 3 times, rendered and presented it.
